Fork Join

is trading performance tuning for easier to write code worthwhile. like all questions of this nature the answer is not a simple yes or no. i think most of the time this is worthwhile but there are exceptions. high end scientific applications would probably need performance tuning more then easily written code. i think these types of programs are a small part of the programing community . if the programer isn't dealing with parallel concepts he or she should be more able to focus on real problem at hand which should lead to better code.
